Tight Squeeze

We're switching some rooms around in the house so the boys were helping move furniture out of Peter's office and into the garage. They moved a couch next to my car and I could only open the driver's door about 8 inches. Skeletor to the rescue! He actually slithered in that small opening!

17 Again

Today is Sean's 17th Bday! Happy Birthday Sean!!! Last night we went out for some sushi to celebrate.

Divorce and remarriage has been good to the McAlevey boys.
Now they even gets gifts from their step grandparents!

Party of Six

This past week was spring break and the boys had some friends over. It was our first group of six in our new dining room.

Since we moved to a house with a yard Peter has taken up gardening again. He is still in the process of killing weeds in our backyard but has done some great work in the front. Here are some photos but please note home depot was out of stock on the hedge trimmer so he hasn't done that yet!

Can someone explain to Peter that when there are several teenagers in our house they do NOT want to be hanging around with Dad...although in his defense they do say he's a "beast" (which is a very good thing).

Moving On

We are moving! The boxes are packed, the movers are booked and the appliances have been purchased. Sean sure was helpful purchasing the appliances...

Football Season

Football season is here. Waking up for early games/practices is definitely the hardest part!

Getting the pads and jersey ready is sort of a challenge as well.

Harry is under strict orders to protect his pretty face.

College Gameday

This morning at 6:20am we met our friend, Desmond Howard at his show, College Gameday. The show was in Los Angeles for the USC OSU game. While it was rough waking up at 4:45am on a Saturday (rougher for some more than others - no names mentioned but his initials are Harry McAlevey) we all had a great time. Thank you Desmond!!

Comic Con 2008

Every year we go down to San Diego for the largest Comic Book Convention in the world, Comic Con. Its much more than just comic books. Harry got to meet some of his favorite authors Eoin Colfer (who writes the Artemis Fowl books) and Chuck Palahniuk as well as Seth Green.

Sean was psyched to not only meet the guy who draws The Tick but he got a personalized drawing too!

Peter was also having a great time.

I was busy working (we had several panels going on) and getting promoted!
